Energy Management System

alfanar's Energy Management System includes power analyzers, power quality and energy servers that offer state-of-the-art technology to measure a large variety of electrical parameters, with the main purpose of controlling and managing an installation, machinery, or industrial applications to optimize performance and reduce energy costs.
When the measurements are higher than expected the parameters can be controlled to improve efficiency, reduce energy consumption and lower electrical energy costs.

POWER ANALYZER


The APA10 APAE3 families measure, calculate and display the main electrical parametersof the following networks:

  • Single-phase
  • Two-phase, with and without neutral
  • Balanced three-phase, with ARON measurements or unbalanced.

The measurement will be taken in RMS with the three AC voltage inputs and three current inputs.

POWER QUALITY ANALYZER


The APAPQ device measures, calculates and shows the main electrical parameters, such as the quality in single-phase and three-phase networks. The measurement will be taken in RMS with the four AC voltage inputs and four current inputs. It features an integrated Datalogger module that allows you to consult data via a conventional web browser. The external PowerStudio software enables you to download the data to a PC or server.

ENERGY SERVER


AES is an energy efficiency manager. The device has an RS-485 communications bus or a built-in GPRS/3G modem, as well as 8 digital inputs and 6 digital outputs via relay, which allows it to communicate with external field devices, representing and storing the information via its Ethernet connection and integrated web server.


ENERGY METER


The AEM static three-phase energy meter measures class 1(IEC 62053-21) and (optional) class 2 reactive energy (IEC 62053-23).
The device also has an RS-485 communication port. Built-in LCD display (7 digits) with rotating screen system. Features built-in RS-485 communications. Also features 2 buttons (1 sealable button) for viewing all the measured information.

CURRENT SENSOR / CURRENT TRANSFORMER


The AFM measurement sensor allows you to capture the magnetic field generated when the current passes through an electrical conductor in AC systems.
Specially designed for alfanar’s APA10-COR-00033 power analyser, it delivers a non-hazardous signal that is proportional to the current flowing through the conductor where it is installed, after the magnetic latch is closed.

POWER STUDIO


Simple, powerful and user-friendly software application, enabling the following:

  • Complete energy studies.
  • Production ratios (energy consumption per unit produced).
  • Power quality management.
  • Arrangement of the information obtained in graphic and table format.
  • The PowerStudio enables complete energy monitoring of power analyzers, meters, earth leakage relays and total control of various magnitudes in the industrial process field.
